Management

Claritas senior management team is formed of individuals with a wide range of experiences within business. The culmination of these individual skillsets leads to a strong management team, able to guide Claritas Solutions through the next phases of its development. Whilst only the senior management are featured here, the culture of Claritas is that everyone is key in the success of the business and continue to execute our vision to delivering world class services to our clients.

Glenn’s early career was spent at BT, deploying, servicing and writing database applications for the fledgling computer sector. As Microsoft began dominating the computer industry, BT began outsourcing its I.T. needs and Glenn took the opportunity to move into providing third party support, running a helpdesk and servicing hundreds of clients across the UK.

In 1994 Glenn founded his own company, ESBios, writing and designing software programmes and hardware solutions. Recognising the power of the expanding Internet as a major communications medium for interconnected applications, he co-founded Claritas Solutions Ltd in 1997. Under his leadership, the company now has a portfolio of over 250 organisations and offices throughout the UK. Glenn engages with all aspects of the Claritas business, from hands-on application development through to managing and strengthening our customer relationships.

Glenn’s vision is for Claritas to continue to grow as an independent business solutions provider by helping organisations ease the burden of IT complexity.

Kevin began his career in IT with a procurement role at a major HP distributor before spending 7 years with one of the UK’s leading IT technical solution integrators. Within this position, he scoped and delivered enterprise-class storage arrays to global organisations.

As Claritas Solutions’ Sales Director, Kevin is responsible for business growth and continual support to our sales team. In co-ordination with our Marketing division, he manages our vendor alliance strategy, working closely with our partners to ensure our customers are provided with the latest technology and solutions that supplement the Claritas portfolio.

In 1988 Derek started as an electronic engineer apprentice with a world-leading distributor of electronic equipment and left in 1999, having become the company’s Technical Services Manager; a role which involved the world-wide installation and repairing of IT network systems. After 4 years upgrading and managing the computer systems of a UK wide menswear supplier, he joined Claritas in 2003.

Derek is responsible for our technical and order management teams who ensure smooth service delivery from solution planning through to implementation and on-going support.

Brian joined us in early 2010 from a full and successful career in financial management. He brings a wealth of experience to the role as he has held a number of top financial positions with leading national and international organisations, all based in the North.

Working with the management team Brian will ensure Claritas achieves the best use of its capital and resources.
